Lately, Xolo continues to be aggressively marketing its devices, especially on television, with promotional banners and ads appearing on primetime. Now, Xolo will likely be launching its first 4G smartphone with Bharti Airtel, based on reports through the Days of India. Xolo is the first Indian brand to provide a time-division duplex long-term evolution (TD-LTE) smartphone in India, as shipments begins in the end in the month.

Xolo has intends to launch some 4G devices at different selling prices, supporting TD-LTE technology, in 2014. Furthermore, also offers to ship over half a million devices this quarter alone, as it predicts that sales for 4G devices will be competitive by 2015. As previously reported, currently, Bharti Airtel may be the only network in India with a 4G LTE network, and even then, it's only in select cities. Furthermore, Bharti Airtel recently signed an understanding with Reliance Jio for sharing network infrastructure in order to avoid duplication.

Personally, I would like to eventually see 4G LTE technology available across India. Only then would I consider purchasing a 4G LTE device. As it currently stands, with both device and network availability limitations, consumers don't look like that interested in making the switch. What I've also realized is in addition to most subscribers being content on either a 2G or 3G network, some aren't aware 4G is available in select cities, and even offered at all. Clearly, consumers need to be informed to make a conclusion, and so i really don't feel as if the telecom operators are making a lot of an effort to inform them.

By the same token, besides network availability issues, there's also not enough 4G devices available in the Indian market. In the event you head into your local bazaar or market, they just don't carry 4G devices. You usually will need to go towards the high-end shopping malls, and already you understand you'll pay reasonably limited because you're buying something m0bi1e the mall, not your neighborhood.

However, with Xolo bundling its 4G smartphone with Bharti Airtel, I'm sure its stores will soon start carrying the devices, too. At least they'll be another choice for buying a 4G device. So what on earth can this mean for current subscribers and new clients? Most likely, there will be competitive pricing, aligned similarly between both operators. However, the greatest gain will likely be for Reliance Jio, since they can gain access to Bharti Airtel's 4G LTE network.

Reliance Jio and the other operator, Aircel , are now attempting to secure second place with 4G LTE offerings across India, and now with this arrangement, clearly, Reliance Jio is within the lead. However, there have been reports of bad quality service on Bharti Airtel's existing 4G LTE network, and as a result, this can also reflect negatively on Reliance Jio too. Also arrangement, it would be great to find out both operators expanding in numerous regions across India, again to protect yourself from overlap and duplication. By consolidating expansion into mutually exclusive areas, both operators still will benefit and gain from the overall arrangement.
