Outdoor Patio Heaters – Educate Yourself on the Infrared Heater Office Heating Market Ahead Of Investing in a Heater.

We have asked a whole lot how come Infrared Heating Panel so efficient so in this week’s blog we thought we might use a crack at answering exactly that question.

A lot of the reasons infrared heating is very efficient range from fact it can be radiant heating compared to convection heating.

So what is the real difference between these two forms of heating? Well put simply, radiant heating heats solid objects directly where as convection heating heats air.

Since you are heating a surface portion of the building as opposed to a volume, this infers a reduced heating capacity requirement should you go with infrared hence you can get away using a lower wattage. Typically of thumb, we normally recommend a 600w infrared heater as equivalent to a 1.5kW convection heater. Obviously this is certainly therefore far cheaper to perform in the event you compare Mirror Infrared Heating Panel with equivalent electric convection panel heaters.

Keeping in mind the cost of gas is 4p / kWh and electricity is 13p / kWh, comparing infrared with gas powered convection heating (i.e. a wet central heating system with radiators), the numbers are significantly more even. Read a little more about how Infrared stacks facing convection heating by clicking here.

Another key advantage of radiant heating (i.e. the temperature made from our infrared heating range) is the fact that since you are heating solid objects, when you shut off the high temperature source, it requires far longer for that room to cool off. Think about the infrared heater is opposite a wall - the wall will absorb the infrared and heat up. This wall, especially if it is well insulated will then slowly release this heat back into the room. For those who have a radiator attempting to heat the equivalent space, your room will certainly heat up - although the reason an occupant would feel warm upon entering that room will be the air is warm. In case the door on the room is opened by way of example, the nice and cozy air will quickly escape and also the room will feel cold again - requiring the heating to become switched on again.

As a result, less energy is necessary to top within the heating should you use infrared heating - which obviously means lower energy bills.

Another benefit of infrared heating is that the thermostat can be set far lower (in comparison to a room heated by convection) because the walls and objects inside a room get warm (including you in case you are standing facing it!). In some cases you may set the area as much as 3 degrees lower but still feel no real difference 68dexnpky warmth. This simply means the Outdoor Patio Heaters can switch off faster allowing you again to help from lower bills.

Hence the reasons first and foremost compared radiant heating directly with convection heating, but there is however another reason why our collection of infrared heating systems are really efficient. Where since the old style infrared heaters used thick solid bars of resistance metal to get sizzling hot (they glowed orange) to emit infrared, our new style heaters have far thinner wires densely distributed within the whole of the section of the panel, which suggests they could operate at far lower density compared to old style infrared heaters.
